We, TAESAN, have built major fundamentals of Korean semiconductor industry focusing on import, manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and revamp services for semiconductor devices. In the early of 1990s', TAESAN was the first to exactly catch the electronic industry market trend and to engage in Back Light Unit business for TFT-LCD products. Besides, TAESAN succeeded to develop dimmer devices, a core part of LCD display product, for the first time in Korea with its own technologies. Those efforts would reduce the constantly increasing dependence on overseas imports and allow a lot of cost save effects for Korean economy. This is because TFT LCD parts are now being rapidly adopted for notebook monitors and Desk Top Monitor devices, even followed by other home appliance like TV.
