  • Profile: Founded on July 27, 2001, AL Communication has constantly complied with the business motto "Providing Advanced Level Communication to the World for an Another Life". We started our business with CDMA and GSM mobile phone export. We achieved total sales of USD 0.6M and USD 1.5M in the calendar year of 2001 and 2002 respectively with mobile phones export business. Although we exported other manufacturers phones to overseas markets, we highly focused on the qualities of handsets for our valuable customers?satisfaction. In the beginning of 2003, we started developing our own brand CDMA mobile phone and are expecting to launch our first CDMA 1X handset, ACH-700, in 3Q of this year. We plan to introduce another CDMA 1X phone at the end of 2003. Sales forecast this year with our mobile phones is over USD 10.0 million. AL Communication currently has 30 employees in Korea, and 3 employees in the US and India including 19 engineers who have an average of 10 years of core experience from Korea's leading handset manufactures. We plan to reinforce R&D manpower to around 50 engineers by the end of 2003 in order to strengthen development of new technology and increase new product line-up for 2004. Based on our in-depth knowledge in mobile phone development and sales, we are initially targeting the new CDMA markets with clients requiring low to mid-end products at affordable price with essential features. As our business motto implies, our goal is to present an another life to people in newborn CDMA markets by providing most affordable and practical mobile communication devices. Following the success with low-mid products, we plan to gradually move forward to upper-level products with sophisticated features. We do not wish to sell our products to everyone. But, we do wish that everyone wants our products.
