Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. is located in Anjeong National Industrial Complex in Gwangdo-myeon, Tongyeong City, on the inner side of Jinhae Bay. At the southernmost end of the Korean peninsula, it is the ideal location for shipbuilding. Our focus is on the niche market between super-large shipyards and medium & small shipyards. We are equipped with the most sophisticated facilities befitting the status of Korea's advanced shipbuilding industry and introduced proven new engineering methods that allow us to compete with both domestic and Japanese companies. Moreover, with our proprietary standard model design, we can guarantee maximum satisfaction based on quality and reliability. I think it is more accurate to say, "We compile ships" rather than "We build ships." One of the most fundamental technologies in shipbuilding is welding. We developed our welding technology in coordination with all the research institutes at shipbuilding companies in the nation.
