    And its Pasteurized Shell Egg Technologies
    Safe Food Corporation, Inc. (SFC) , a Korean biotech company, was founded in 2002 with specialty in pasteurization technologies for shell eggs and marketing and sales of pasteurization equipments and pasteurized shell eggs (PSE) . In May, 2006, we were granted a US patent for the PSE technologies (# 7052726) following a European Patent in the previous year (# 1439757) .
    We initiated PSE sales in 2004 with a very limited capacity at the beginning in Korea and have gradually expanded. Our customers include major department stores and supermarkets, and noticeably, last month, a branch of the largest supermarket chain in Korea, a subsidiary of Samsung Co., started to offer our PSE to its customers. Although the sales volume of PSE is still rather small, we are quite excited by the fact that PSE has been indeed well accepted by the high end customers in the domestic market on one hand and top sales records in the biggest mart (E-Mart) on the other hand.
    Equipped with the US patent for the PSE technologies, we were able to launch PSE sales at two major commissaries of US Army stationed in South Korea recently which, we think, could be one of the most important steps forward for us to further validating our PSE technologies to foreign markets and regulatory organizations, especially, to those of United States. We expect that the sales of PSE and the pasteurization equipments could increase drastically throughout the US Army commissaries worldwide in the near future.
    Since the first business collaboration with an Iranian company in 2004, we have established either partnership or agency agreements with several Asian companies including those in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippine, Dubai, etc. Especially in Hong Kong, there have been quite strong sales activities for our PSE at one of major supermarkets.
