By the dawn of the 21st century, Korea had become one of the leaders in the semiconductor, mobile communication and super-high-speed Internet industries; and I believe the future of SEODU INCHIP semiconductor SoC, WCDMA wireless communication and digital information device technologies is limitless. Since its foundation in 1997, SEODU INCHIP has been co-operating with KT, Dacom and SK Telecom to develop IMT-2000 Modem chips, and now we have joined forces with Hyundai Systems to develop an improved commercial model. In the information device sector, we have developed products for digital broadcast reception such as set-top boxes, and made inroads into the European and Middle East markets. We are exporting considerable quantities to these markets as part of our effort to accelerate our advance into the global market. In the semiconductor sector, we are in the process of developing System-On-Chip technologies based on the ARM core (ARM Holdings, PLC), and we also have our eye on developing high-value-added products on the basis of SOC for wireless communication and information devices. Since the 1970's Korea has gone all out to acquire world-class technologies in mobile communication, digital media and semiconductors, and finally joined the elite group of leaders of the world. Now Korea owns many top-rated IT technologies and products, and SEODU INCHIP is among the domestic leaders in this sector and will continue to make efforts to become a topflight enterprise possessed of superb technical prowess. I firmly believe these efforts will lay the foundation for our transformation to be a world-class IT firm a few years down the line.
