Daewoo Heavy Industries started to produce the generator sets from 1977. In November 1999, K2Power was newly established from Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd. for the purpose of developing the generator set business to the global first-class. K2Power has inherited the various resources such as sales network, personnel and technology which Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd. has accumulated more than 22 years. Also K2Power always makes efforts to maintain and improve the best quality of his products. K2Power moves to achieve the global, multinational corporation which has unceasing innovation, new management and brand. At present, K2Power is the largest manufacturer of diesel generator set in Korea as holding 35% market share in the domestic and exporting to the world more than 35 countries. K2Power is able to manufacture 10,000 diesel generator sets every year and his product line-up is 20kW~2000kW. His motto is quick delivery. K2Power establishes the strategic cooperation with Korean HSD and Institute for Advanced Engineering (IAE). K2Power initiates to supply the 10MW~100MW Diesel, Coal Fired and Coal Gasification Power Plant. K2Power pursues to supply CCPP (Combined Cycle Power Plant) and IGCC (Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle) ranging from 100MW to 600MW all around the world. At present, due to rapid economical development, the electric power becomes seriously insufficient in South East Asia. The short-term goal is to supply diesel fueled mounted type and quickly replace them with gas generator sets. CCPP will be furnished to any place in South East Asia based on their requirements. Final goal is K2Power to become an operator for the power plants in South East Asia and many other countries in the world. Power Plant is the most essential area for the development of national industries.
