Since receiving a "Small & Medium Industry Promotion Cooperation" award, NEWSTAR continued to grow and received a "Ten Million Dollar Export Tower Prize", "Certificate of Venture" and "Certificate of Superior Technology Company." On the 39th Trade Day NEWSTAR has an honor to receive "The Order of industrial Merit". The Korean frame industry has gradually lost competitiveness to developed countries and China regarding design and price. To overcome this, we designed and introduced our own brand "SEESUN" in the first DIOPS (Daegu International Optical Show) in November 2001 based on our technology which we accumulated for 17 years. SEESUN is designed with the cooperation of professional designers from Korea, Italy and Japan teamed with experienced technicians. SEESUN frames and sunglasses can be found at famous optical shops throughout the nation and the recognition of brand is growing through advertisements on radio and fashion magazines. We are aiming at growing up to the best brand especially in the Asian market with products particularly designed and developed for a perfect fit of Oriental people.
