This reputation has continued to grow over the years with the addition of seeds in 1981 and veterinary pharmaceuticals in 1986. But agrochemicals were just the beginning. As Dongbu Hannong Chemical guided Korea's agrochemical industry into new territory, we were also progressively advancing into neighboring fields. This synergetic diversification led us into fine chemicals in 1977 with agrochemical technicals and petrochemicals in 1978 with styrene monomer. Today, we're a leader in numerous product categories, including agrochemicals, nitric acid and phosphoric acid, supplying about or above 30 percent of domestic demand in each one.
