Pulsus has introduced the world's first Digital-to-Digital Converter (DDC) chips, which transform PCM (pulse code modulation) audio signal into PWM (pulse width modulation) pulses, enabling it to be "digitally" amplified. In technical terms it is "Digital pulse modulation amplifier (DPMA)"technology. The DDC that interfaces directly with digital audio sources such as DVD players, dramatically reduces size and power requirements for audio amplifier, and at the same time improves sound quality. This revolutionary technology will change the whole audio industry in just a few years. Currently, digital amplifier solution of Pulsus powers home-theater products of major OEM's such as Sony, LG, Samsung, Toshiba, Kenwood, Denon, Onkyo and RCA. The name of the company, "Pulsus", comes from the Latin root of "pulse", in other words, the digital signals, indicates that the core expertise of the company is the development of next-generation technologies for digital multimedia.
