    Founded in 1969, samsung gwangju electronics co. Limited (sgec) of samsung group is specialized in manufacturing such white goods as vacuum cleaners, vac motors, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and compressors.
    Those plants are of very close location each other, located only in gwangju, korea.
    There are 3,200 employees aprx in our factory(hq).

    We are one of the largest vacuum cleaner manufacturers in the world.
    In 2005, we produced more than 10 million units of vacuum cleaners.
    We are proud that we have a merit in terms of both quality and cost thanks to the mass production.

    In addition, we produce vac motors inhouse at the factory.
    The departments of r&d, manufacture, and quality control for vacuums and vac motors are placed at the factory.
