In July 2000, Kumho P&B Chemicals, Inc. made a new contract with Nippon Steel Chemical Co., Ltd. under a joint venture of 51:49 between Kumho Group and Nippon Steel Chemical Co., Ltd.<br> With the newest technology introduced by the Royal Dutch/Shell Group and the construction of a new factory to produce Bisphenol-A, MIBK and Epoxy resin, the supply of new products, such as Bisphenol-A and MIBK, in Korea has become possible. Additionally, through the expansion of phenol/acetone with advanced UOP technology, high purity phenol and acetone and the export of the same products from Korea has been made possible.</font></td></tr></table>
