  • Profil: QSI Co., Ltd., was founded in July 2000 by the experts with over 10 years of R&D and industrial mass production experiences in compound semiconductor such as epitaxial growth, chip fabrication and packaging for high reliability of edge emitting laser and vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSEL). QSI is aiming to be the world's leading manufacturer focusing exclusively on products full lineup for optical compound semiconductors and other optical device like photo-diode and submount. QSI products include epitaxial wafer on the basis of MOCVD, edge emitting laser device with TO-3, TO-5 or TO-18 and others for industrial applications with various power and wavelength ranging from 635nm to 1000nm, respectively and VCSELs for data communication. Also, QSI expand other optical device business regarding to photo diode, phototransistor and submount from March, 2002. In details, there are four product groups in QSI; the 1st one is short wavelength edge emitting laser for optical leveler, bar code scanner, sensor and optical storage, the 2nd one is high power edge emitting laser for solid state laser excitation, medical applications, material process, optical measurement system, the 3rd one is VCSEL for Gigabit Ethernet and last one is photo diode and submount for industrial and data communication. QSI is not a beginner but the new company with a large experience in the development & mass production of visible, high power LD, VCSEL and PD.
