We wish to bid sincere thanks to all of our clients and supporters. <p>Since our inauguration in<b> 1989, <b>Korea PTG Co., Ltd. has remained as the leader in the field of C4 stream technology. With the application of in-depth technology within key industries, and in conjunction with ABB Lummus Crest of the USA and Alusuisse of Italy, the ALMA process plant was created to produce highly purified Maleic Anhydride, having a capacity of 25,000 MTA. Additionally in conjunction with Davy (Currently Kvaerner Process Technology Ltd.) of the U.K. a plant was constructed with a capacity to produce 1.4-Butanediol and Tetrahydrofuran with an output of 28,000 MTA and 26,000 MTA respectively. <p>Yielding countless new opportunities to customers with our consolidated production line, we have implemented new technology to create a manufacturing process for Polytetramethylene-ether-glycol (PTMEG), utilizing our own strength of expertise and capabilities. Resultant of these efforts, has emerged a commercial plant with a capacity to produce 25,000 MTA PTMEG of the highest quality. We are ideally situated to enable others to take advantage of this production with us. <p>As a result of our work in creating the new <b>PTMEG process, we were given the ?Jang Yung Sil Prize? by the Ministry of Science and Technology in appreciation of this tremendous achievement. The Korean Government made a further award of the Certificate of Korean New Technology, known as the ?KT? Mark. We took out a patent on the new PTMEG process in Korea, in Europe and in the USA, and applied for a patent Japan after PCT examination.
